AI implementation: data, integration and security (FABRICA)

The architecture behind AI that works. FABRICA covers the technology on which AI runs safely: data, integrations, access rights, privacy and hosting — connected to the programs you already use. Without this foundation an assistant remains a toy.

What you receive

  • Connected data sources.
  • Secured access, with clear rights for who may see and do what.
  • Privacy documents for the solution.
  • Technical documentation.
  • A licence note for every building block used.

Why this comes first

An assistant that is not connected to your programs stays a toy. It cannot see your orders, your documents or your customer history, so people copy text in and out by hand, and after a few weeks they stop. Integration is what turns a demonstration into a tool for daily work.

Gartner named poor data quality and inadequate risk controls among the causes why it expects projects to be abandoned after the proof of concept. FABRICA is where we deal with both: we look at which data the solution needs, where it lives, who may access it, and what must not leave the house.

Data protection and hosting

Before we build, we describe in writing which data flows where, which provider is involved and where it is hosted. We prepare the privacy documents that belong to the solution. This is technical and organisational preparation, not legal advice; for legal questions about your specific case you should involve your own legal adviser.

We build with what exists

Maison Ordo builds for you itself. We adopt and adapt open building blocks, patterns and templates, and note the licence of every block in the technical documentation and in the hand-over document. We do not add paid third-party tools as a default; they come in only if you expressly ask for them.

Where it fits in the journey

Usually FABRICA follows the assessment (ORDO), because the assessment shows which data and systems are really needed. It comes before OPUS, the chamber where assistants and agents are built, because those depend on the connections made here.

Frequently asked questions

Can you connect AI to the programs we already use?

That is exactly the task of FABRICA. Which connections make sense, and how, is clarified in the assessment, on the basis of your own cases.

Who owns the documentation?

You receive the technical documentation with the hand-over, so that you can continue without us.

Where is our data hosted?

We agree this per project and write it down before the build. We do not decide it silently.
